You know, I didn't mind them.
What upset me was how he was treated - being shipped off to Ohio and basically raped.
It was wrong. He has a good heart and fcking Homelander killed thousands directly on screen with not so much as a slap on the wrist.
I don't know why the Deep wasn't based in Hawaii or California in the FIRST place. I mean it would make sense from a PR standpoint and the usefulness of his powers. He could have been patrolling the Pacific with the U.S. fleet???
The Deep sexually assaulted Starlight and it was implied other women would come forward.
And Homelander physically raped someone for three hours and fathered a child...which is worse?
As far as I can tell the Deep flashed Starlight and emotionally manipulated her into giving him head. She's much more powerful than him and was too naive to fight him off.
I'd say Homelander's actions were worse.
I'm not so sure he did. Homelander said it was consensual, and while he lies when it comes to work, he believes in honesty when it's personal. Otherwise he would have just killed Butcher instead of taking him to his wife, who will tell him the truth.
Are you kidding me? She went from meeting him at a party once to screwing him at the first work meeting for her job. No. She looked shocked, scared, and tousled when she stumbled out of that room after three hours. A consenting encounter with a man would at least involve a man she felt comfortable straight her clothes and hair with after a marathon round of sex.
Her shoe was off her foot, her silk blouse was unbuttoned and untucked, her hair was a mess, and her makeup was messed. She was a career woman and not stupid enough to look like that in the middle of the day.
Homelander also lied on national television about that plane going down too.

Well how does Homelander have sex without killing the woman? If he...how to put this ...goes all the way, it would shoot through the woman and kill her.

He looks like a knockoff Chris Evans.
I'm still a little confused as to how its legal. Marvel is set in America, so is the Boys universe.
Homelander is Captain America.
Queen Maeve is Wonder Woman.
A-Train is The Flash.
The Deep is Aquaman.
Starlight is a alt-Christian version of Starfire.
I don't think he looks like Evans at all. At first I thought he looked way to old for the role- he looks more like a dad of a superhero- but his acting is fantastic. I haven't hated a character this much since Joffrey.
It was originally a comic series. They don't use exact characters, so it's legal. All forms of literature take inspiration from other sources, comics are no different.

Anonymous wrote:So what exactly are starlights powers? Homeland is so scary. The ending was cool. They have already signed up for season two.
