I don’t see Homelander as the type who hurts people for fun. He paradoxically sees people merely as objects- he gets neither pleasure from helping nor hurting them because they are beneath him- but also desperately wants their admiration. He wants to be seen as the hero who saves civilians and saves Vought, and will hurt people to achieve those ends. Rape wouldn’t do anything for him because it doesn’t give him that ego boost. It’s more likely they worked together, she was attracted to him and gave in, then afterwards realized what a terrible thing she’d done. Honelander brought Butcher to see his wife in order to clear his name since rape doesn’t fit with the hero image, and because he hates lying when it’s about or to him.

I don't think he looks like Evans at all. At first I thought he looked way to old for the role- he looks more like a dad of a superhero- but his acting is fantastic. I haven't hated a character this much since Joffrey.

It was originally a comic series. They don't use exact characters, so it's legal. All forms of literature take inspiration from other sources, comics are no different.

I think of her as a Friday Night Lights Jubilee from X-Men.

Essentially she flashes bright, blinding light from her hands - strong enough to kill you.
