I like wearing those types of dresses with one of those stretchy belts. I like the dress but I prefer to show that I have a waist so I add the belt.

Girl no. That’s for 60+ women in the south or Caribbean

It is not spectacular but it is totally okay if you are comfy in it and feel good in it. It is FAR from mumu that sends you back into 1950's or modern day senior center. Those necessarily have either that specific squared off top and side pockets and often come buttoned in front.. or not..

Yours is much closer in form to a shift dress really.. that can have different sleeve situation .. be sleeveless or have something but always is free form A loose nothing restricting in the waist.. free flow of the air in the "strategic areas"

Whereas Sundress as someone suggested is a PURE nightmare in anything above 90F outdoor air, let alone humid.
It turns into a Turkish Sauna. It is borderline heal hazard due to the air flow restriction in the mid section caused by
the "defined waist". No matter how open it is on the top, once you have this cutting you in half hugging waist belt like situation the air has nowhere to go but to pool around your core. It is really bad idea for any tropic like situation health wise, so above certain temps and humid the free flowing forms are way better.

Like this one. I'm actually wearing something similar, but shorter. It feels wonderful on a hot day, and paired with the right shoes (high heeled wedge sandals) I think it looks kind of cute.
But maybe others see me as "frumpy" and "giving up?" I'm 44 for what it's worth.

But yeah, I have a sleeveless mumu that I'm wearing right now and considering buying another...

I prefer the similar ones at garnet hill

I have a few house dresses that I put on as soon as I can reasonably expect that nobody will be ringing the doorbell. I love being comfortable.

I like that dress, OP, but I’m not one to worry about current fashions; I’m clueless in that regard and have decided not to give a F. I probably couldn’t wear it to work but I’d wear it shopping or to the pool...even out to lunch with my family.

No, that one's a house dress.
When i think of a muu muu, I think of a dasheiki.

Also wear a hat.

I don't wanna look like a weirdo. I'll just go with a muumuu.

I have the sleeveless swing dresses from old Navy - mumu like, but black, so I can pull it off with a necklace and sandals.

If you're going to muumuu then get a Hawaiian one! Hilo Hattie has some short and long options.

A few, like the Nahenahe and purple hibiscus, seem more for hula dancing, but that classic red or plumeria? I may pick one up when I visit Hawaii next month.

If you're serious into the Hawaiian muumuu...T&L Muumuu Factory. I have a beautiful one I bought there for dancing (I'm a hula dancer) but many of their short dresses look comfy.

I wear them, but would not buy that print at Vermont country store.

I don’t think I would ever consider buying clothing from the Vermont Country Store. Maple syrup YES
