Compared to what or whom?
Very far left compared to Fox News, but centrist compared to general US sentiment. A lot of us agree with the things AOC is championing.
"A lot of us...."
Interesting, that an internal poll commissioned by the DNC doesn't show what you are saying.
The poll — taken in May, before Speaker Pelosi's latest run-in with AOC and the three other liberal House freshmen known as "The Squad" — included 1,003 likely general-election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education.
These are the "white, non-college voters" who embraced Donald Trump in 2016 but are needed by Democrats in swing House districts.
The group that took the poll shared the results with Axios on the condition that it not be named, because the group has to work with all parts of the party.
The findings:
Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view.
Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.
Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%.
Capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable.
"Socialism is toxic to these voters," said the top Democrat.

It is a fundraiser for Jamie Raskin's Democracy Summer, but donations are optional. Ticket reservations are free.
I am not as far left as AOC but I have no problem with this. Democracy Summer is a summer internship program run by Raskin's office to give young people experience in government. AOC like it or not appeals to young people. I like that Raskin has had only good things to say about other Democrats, from Pelosi to the "Squad." He's always been smart, upbeat, and an effective legislator and we need more people like him in office.

1. Bad source. Of course the DNC is going to land there. AOC is making the establishment uncomfortable.
2. People say “socialism” is bad, but love the socialist policies. Healthcare, schools, infrastructure/roads.
...Until they find out it isn't really free.

AOC is holding a rally with Jamie Raskin in (the People's Republic of) Silver Spring. Tickets are sold out.
Raskin IMO has been rather unclear about whether he's with the Pelosi wing or with the AOC wing of the Democratic Party and maybe this is the answer.

When Rep. Ocasio-Cortez compares the border camps to early stages Nazi Germany, she is spot on.
Stand up Democrats and support the outrage. AOC had the courage to, stop trying to polarize yourselves and get it together. She , and the rest of the " squad" are not left wing radicals- stop allowing yourself to be swayed by right wing rhetoric.

You're wrong too. It's an unincorporated area.
