Of course all those are voice activated commands so you can just talk to your car to adjust any features of the seats.

BMW X3 has similar functions.. one of them - Lumbar support -
Power lumbar support in the front seats adds four-way adjustable comfort for the lower back - it can be adjusted up/down and in/out. YOu can also add massage option and heating and cooling and more.

+1. I would drive our '93 Ford Ranger every day if the air conditioning worked. It's so much better on my injured lower back than my Lexus SUV daily driver
Love my car otherwise but the seat is killing me...so I'd not recommend an RX 350.

Oh yeah, my sedan seats were the worst when I hurt my back. It was like...sitting in a bucket of pain.

My dad had a terrible back (he had a spinal condition) and he was able to drive a minivan for years because of the seating and ease of getting in and out. Also because he could still do things like load groceries into the back of the minivan with his bad back (because you aren't lifting things in and out of a trunk), he was able to maintain independence and feel like he was contributing to the house longer (at that time, he was sharp and his feet and eyesight were fine, so he could drive).

When he finally ended up in a wheelchair, my mom took over driving, but the sliding door, trunk that made it easy to load his wheelchair, etc. meant he could still go places with her as the driver.

you are going to get a recommendation for each model by the time the thread gets done. Ask your orthopedic or PT or....go and try sitting in a few of them.

We take long car trips, and I’ve found that you do get what you pay for when it comes to car seats. I’ve found Mercedes to be the best. They are more firm than you’ll find in cheaper cars and have much more lumbar support. Many car seats actually curve inward, forcing your shoulders forward. It’s awful after any time at all. I currently drive a Land Rover, and it’s very good, but I still think the Mercedes seats were better.

We chose the Acura RDX (the new one) for this reason.
