I find a lot of people have children and feel compelled to write books like they are experts. I can talk to my friends for info like that. I want actual rigorous data and research.

I love parenting books. I’ve gotten something useful out of every one I’ve read.

I’m so sick of the multiple examples of parent being made out to be a dope “I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong?” type and then author makes suggestion and follows up with how well it worked and parent was so thankful and surprised.

I didn’t read any parenting books. I raised two great adults. I’d rather read a true crime. I know how to parent.

So someone needs to take this business idea - cliff’snotes for parenting books - and run with it. Obviously there’s a market.
