Shzillion. It’s Gaelic. Interesting.

We enjoy a good Nolan beefsteak occasionally. I prefer a Nolan cheesesteak personally.

I like this too but it’s spelled Ciaran in Ireland so I think that’s how my husband would prefer it which adds in the pronouncement issue again. I’ll have to run it by him though. It’s a good name!

I have an ethnic (Swedish) name that is mispronounced by everyone on their first try, especially if they see it spelled. I love my name and don’t care - it’s a pretty name with a cool origin story, and I’m named after a family member. Use a name you love and your child will be OK.

Of your 7 above I like Declan the best.

Apparently Nolan Ryan owns cattle now and sells all the hamburgers in Texas. It’s definitely just a regional issue but hard to get out of my head when we have family and friends in Texas.

Omg who cares?

These are great! Thanks! We’ve considered Cillian (although there is yet another cousin with this name but at least he’s in Ireland) but I’ve worried about pronunciation (and my husband wouldn’t hear of spelling it with a K.) I’ve gone back and forth between Benjamin and Bennett—I do love both!
