Mine too.
He felt like he aced it and thought he had a shot at a 5.
He was so disappointed.
I thought the curve might have been easier this year but who knows.

Since folks were asking not only scores but schools, I'll say my kid goes to TC Williams in Alexandria (a favorite punching bag on DCUM) and got 4. (Got 4s and 5s on all the other AP tests as well.)
OP, it might be helpful for you to see if the scores overall from your kids school this year were comparable to the scores from last year.

What school system OP? MCPS almost forces kids who are not ready to take AP classes just so that it will reflect better on the school system. Maybe your kid wasn’t ready to take the class (not his fault!).

This was mainstream AP Chem but the single period version which magnet kids typically take. There is also a double period AP chem which non-magnet kids typically take. Many Magnets take AP Chem to prep for the Chem SAT II.

2. Her friend in the class also got a 2.
I reminded her that she gets high school credit for the class, and can take it again in college. She got a 5 on her other AP exam.
