Sounds like this family just isn't a good fit for you anymore OP. When I babysit, even when I'm paid through a transfer or cash app, most people round up quite a bit. You could also start getting paid through one of those apps and you can send payment requests for exactly what you're owed. No rounding up, but at least you know you won't get shorted.

You would not use someone again beccause they stood up for themselves and didn't let you short them? You're awful.
