But she brought deviled eggs! Win!

My ILs are great and it's truly a pleasure to visit them, especially as it saves me from making dinner for multiple nights.
My tiny vent...they push their coffee table seriously 1/4 inch from the couch. So you have to get on the couch from the side, lift the coffee table up with your leg, scoot in to sit in the middle of the couch if others are around, and put it back down. LOL...why?!
Good lord, you have a mouth. Just say, "may I move this so it is easier to sit on couch?". God gave you a brain, USE IT!

Young kids can’t go from 7 am until 4 pm! Do you have little kids? I’m not for the snacking all the time but this is crazy.
This is why there is a serious obesity epidemic. Young children do not need to eat greasy convenience food. If they are hungry between meals they should get an apple out of the fruit bowl, sit on the front doorstep and have a nice, healthy, nutritious snack. They do not need a bacon, nacho cheese, funion burger.
Well they could do that if MIL hadn't "closed the kitchen" from breakfast til 4pm. It is unreasonable to expect adults and children to go from 7am to 4pm without lunch.
