I was thinking about a recent class where two different people did challenging alternative moves. These people were killing it in class. Not compensating.
Whatever. Who cares anyways.
But how do you know? I'm often one of the ones "killing it" in my classes, and I still sometimes need to modify. You have no idea what's going on with someone's body, even the strong people.

If you stink enough that I can smell you anywhere in the room there's no way you're not award of it and it's inconsiderate. I take early morning orangetheory classes and there are a few people who always roll in smelling terrible. I dread them choosing the station next to me. I understand getting a waft of BO now and then as the class heats up, but if you smell like ass before the class even starts, you're doing something wrong. Rinse off before class (or even the night before!), wash your butt, apply fresh deodorant, and wear clean workout clothes.

The ones who are off beat don’t bother me unless we’re in a spin class and they have set themselves up in the front row. Why do you put yourself front and center if you have no rhythm?? It’s so distracting!
Some people have injuries that force them to modify. I’m one of them. Doesn’t mean we should give up fitness classes. Our trainers get this. Glad I go to a more tolerant gym.
