Seriously, PP? Think about that, maybe.

I haven't seen any handicap or wheelchair people on a sidewalk in maybe 15 years who csres

If you’re going to troll, at least try to make it funny.

He/she is right, wheelchairs in a city are very rare, for whatever reason.

Maybe you live out in upper suburbia. I see wheelchairs, especially the motorized ones fairly often. In fact, when the sidewalk sucks really bad, they use the bike lanes (I have no problem with that BTW).

No, they're not. Really. Open your eyes and get out more.

But cars parked all over are cool with you?

Cars are parked in designated spaces. If they were randomly left on the sidewalk or the street, people would have big problems with it. Same with the scooters. The problem is they’re left lying around. If they had docks, it wouldn’t be as much of a problem. It’s a private industry taking advantage of public space.

People park cars in designated spaces. People also park cars in undesignated spaces, like sidewalks and bike lanes.

But I'm fine with designated scooter parking in the roadway. Switch over car parking to scooter parking and bike parking. Are you fine with that?

100% I think it's a great idea.

Scooters block the way of people in wheelchairs. That's a real problem. But they don't cause horrifying crashes.

You know what does cause horrifying crashes? When drivers collide with people in wheelchairs.

Scooters left lying all over sidewalks will be an issue when a wheelchair or other handicapped person has a horrifying accident due to "scooter litter".
