I would definitely allow this if I trusted the parent. If I did not, I’d volunteer to come along as well.

OP, I would send your kid on the trip, although I would verify with the supervising adult what his plan is for a situation where all 4 kids don't want to go on the same ride. Will he bypass going on a ride to stay back if one kid doesn't want to go on, so they're not standing by themselves for an extended period while the rest of the group waits in a long line? That's the only part that would make me uneasy. Likewise, make sure you're comfortable if your kid is the only one who WANTS to go on some big coaster. YMMV, but from a purely age/supervision/ratio thing I'd be fine with it.

Actually they are still very young, and common sense is to parent your kids. I get so sick of seeing 7-11 olds acting up and no parent or adult in site as their parents clearly don't care as lon gas they are not bothered by them. Why have kids if you stop parenting them so young?

I have one child who is extremely conscientious, responsible and mature. She makes good choices. I’d let her. My other child has ADHD, so that dc gets distracted easily and wanders away from the group, has no sense of direction, doesn’t listen half the time, and frequently loses belongings. There’s no way I’d make a single adult responsible for that kid and 3 others all day. It’s stressful enough for me on family outings.

Why not six flags? I went there last week with a group of rising freshman. It was clean and the staff was super nice.
