What I want to know is... why on Mother’s Day, was there a thread about how husbands disappointed their wives on their Mother’s Day (by not doing enough), but on Father’s Day, wives are scoffing about what a man “really” wants?

My post-marriage BF was so good at sex I wanted it several times a day everyday, and he was just normal size BTW, but we were also in our 40s and he couldn't handle that much sex, it was frustrating sometimes. So we only had it about 3-4 times a week and only 1-2 times a day. For three years. For me, coming off a long dry spell at the end of my long marriage, it was pretty great.

Mother's Day, Father's Day, Groundhog Day, everyday.

Raises hand. This woman.

PP. good point. I have wondered if these women dolling out sex like sugar calories have ever had a big O, and if they get them on the regular in their marriage. You wouldn’t wait for your husband to ask for it, we both crave it from each other!

If my DH was great in bed, you can bet I'd want it more from him. As it is, I self pleasure a lot. My Os are a lot more powerful. That doesn't mean we don't have sex because I know DH likes it obviously, and he wants the closeness, which is fine. So we do it maybe 1 or 2x a week. But I would want it more if he was a lot better at it. Yes, I knew how his skills were before we got married. This was not my primary criteria in a marriage.

Nope, men’s libidos aren’t always piping hot. More men have lower sex drives than you think. Gender bias harms men, too, especially the stale idea that they are “naturally” more highly sexed and promiscuous than women.

Plenty of data challenges “men’s sex drives stronger” view and really strong data from primatology too. Research is out there to read.
