No.

(Also, for anyone reading this two year old thread -- there are restrictions in place at the Canadian border right now.)

I’ve got my eye on this trip next summer. What else do folks like to do in Toronto with kids (dd will be 7)? Falls, Zoo and hockey museum are def on our list.

Taking your children with you is a great idea! I am sure that they are going to remember a Niagara Falls Tour since is something huge for them. I have 2 kids and I'm trying to take them anywhere with me. It's a huge sacrifice, but it's totally worth it in my opinion. I know that it's more convenient to travel alone, but you will see in the future that this was a good idea. They will be influenced by many cultures and they're going to see how other people are living. Make sure that you're going to take pictures of them so you can show them after they'll be older

That sounds fine but we did the first stop at Falling Water with a tour and stayed overnight.

I am the above PP. just saw the other post about Lake George. We really liked it, did the hike up the mountain, the boat ride, played mini golf, went in the cute shops. Don’t need to go again but we created some fun memories.

We did something similar in 2019. Stopped at Piney Creek Gorge on the way up and one other place but I can’t remember the name. We didn’t do Toronto though, we went East and went to Lake George for a couple of nights. It was a 6 hour drive I think k but we stopped at a zoo halfway between NF and LG to break it up.

+1 precovid, we booked a session to do glass blowing. that was super cool.

I didn't get to spend that much time in the museum, though. Want to go back.

This is the route we take too. Lots to do in Pittsburgh (even if you stop in Erie there are a few attractions to do)

LOL. Check your map. What does Lake George have to do with anything?

PS: Lake George is cheesy and gross. At least it was when i was growing up there. I'll take Toronto in a heartbeat. Maybe OP will run into Drake or can go to Kim's Convenience Store.

I used to do this drive several times a year when I was in College in Buffalo.

Corning is the easiest stop, but Watkins Glen is worth a visit and the gorges near Ithaca are awesome also.

Keep your speed down near Geneseo.

Williamsport is a good place to stop to eat.

Try to make a stop in Buffalo. There are good places to eat (try Bar Bill for wings) and some nice areas near the lake.

I did this over July 4th and hit no traffic taking 11/15 but I didn’t do it when everyone in the country decided on a road trip.

You could also consider squeezing in a trip to Watkins Glen State park to see the gorge there as part of your Corning visit. It get crowded, so you would want to be there early, but it is beautiful!

If you all don't mind lots of driving, sounds fun. Just keep in mind if you're trying to do this over july 4 week, you will be spending more time in the car than you think.
