The birthday girl is 4. Your menu is fine. 4 year ods can eat hot dogs.


If there will be more adults maybe get a rotisserie chicken you can slice and have in the fridge. Easy and should appease the hot dog snobs.

There is salad, according to OP - make i it really big and really nice. I do not go to children’s birthday parties expecting a great meal.

This is not a big deal. "Mom, please bring salad, stop on the way and buy it for you and it would be great if you wanted to bring it for the rest of the adults too." Is she staying the night? If she is, I would definitely be a god host that had food for her mom to eat for that day. I also become sick after eating hotdogs, always have. Throwing up and similar. Those things are nasty, but I have a similar reaction to commercial sausages. I wonder why? Is it garlic or what... Might research that. I can't eat shade plants.
