NP. This poster expects you to know enough about the geography and climate of your own damn country to know that, even in summer, the Bay Area is notoriously cooler and breezier than the D.C. area. Therefore, she was cooler while pregnant in the San Francisco area and ate more. This whole thread is about being cold = eating more/being hot = eating less.
She’s probably the same one who randomly started talking about how early her babies walked in a thread about getting in shape at 40. This is a huge stretch for this topic. Some people just think we all GAF about their kids and pregnancies.

Definitely. I'm summer I'm satisfied with mostly cold food and lots of salads and fruit. In winter all I want is carbs and hearty things like potatoes and stews etc. I think it's a biological thing. Our ancestors were not assured a bounty of food in winter so when they ate they ate a lot to stock up and flatten up as it were to beat the cold.

Same. I think it’s that heat makes me lose appetite. I also eat a ton of fresh fruit and veggies and grilled meat in summer so when I do eat it’s very healthy. I’m a pretty healthy eater year round but no doubt it’s easier in summer to get in good fresh stuff.

No, but I eat much more greens, fruits, and lighter things like salads etc. in winter it’s heavier and more dense caloric fare usually.
