Subject: Mary Elise or Mary Alice?
I think Mary Alice flows off the tongue a little more easily. It sounds more old fashioned, FWIW. Is this a double barreled name or picking a middle name for a kid who you will call just Mary?

Mary Alice. Elise is beautiful too but since you plan to use both names together, Mary Alice works better as a double name.

Since you plan to use both names, I would go with Mary Alice. IMO, it flows much better than Mary Elise. I really like Mary Alice. FWIW, I also love Mary Ellen.

Mary Elise is prettier. Maybe because it sounds like one name

I like Mary Alice better. I have a friend with that name and when she’s in a joking mood she calls herself Malice.

Agree that Mary does not flow well into Elise. Alice sounds better.

NP here. If you were going to use just the first name or just the last name, I would go with Mary Elise (prettier and more modern). But if you plan to use both, go with Mary Alice. The rhythm and flow is better with the stress on the first syllable of Alice instead of the second syllable of Elise.

She'll be an old lady eventually and for a longer portion of her life.
