I like Spanish, Persian, Arabic names generally. Ideally a longer name that could have simple, not too cutesy nickname (i.e. Soraya/Raya).

I think it’s beautiful. I looked it up once and I believe it’s persian/Arabic. I’m lily white as is DH so I’d personally not want to look like a cultural poser but I’d use it otherwise!

Love it, likely because the Soraya I know is the most wonderful woman. I think it’s a beautiful name.

The only soraya I know was egotistical and heinous but I say that just to say it's definitely a real name. I couldn't use it because of the association but it's a pretty name that is not made up.
