Inadequate or poor parenting can definitely cause emotional problems and mental health issues.

Said someone who has never patented a mentally ill child. It’s so easy to blame the parents.

What do you think parents did with a mentaly I'll child prior to games? Yes. It is laziness.

Prior to video games, they became addicted to or obsessive about other things - food, sugar, television, ect. Older kids - drugs, alcohol, ect. Really, it only takes a few moments of this thing called "thinking" to realize this.

Not saying that addictive gaming is fine, but we can't forget to promote values such as self-control, prioritization, and ambition our children.

Well, for every friend of yours that is such a successful achieved adult there are millions kids who ruined their lives, dropped out of high schools, colleges and so let's not cherry pick here.

Oh dear.. you need to do a bit of a research and fact check so you will learn that kids are NOT ABLE to "self control" or "self regulate" when comes to screen devices. If you knew it you would not post it like it is a fact. It is not. There are studies, research and unless you don't believe in science, please stop saying this in that many ways.

Do you deny the existence of gambling addiction too? Just lazy adults who allow themselves to gamble all the time, right?

I also don't believe that alcohol is a disease
Gambling, drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco, using illegal drugs are ALL CHOICES.

So basically you’re just plain ignorant.

It would be wonderful if you could educate yourself on facts before you will keep spreading such an misinformation.
