I did prefer a wrap for the first few months. Baby seemed more comfortable and I was as well. I used the solly wrap which isn’t simple but is easy once you get the hang of it. I later got a ring sling and will probably use that a good bit with a second because it was so easy (I didn’t get it til baby was older and used for hip carries once sitting). Once 3 months of so then I used the more structured carriers. But everyone ends up having their own preference (including the babies). If you can swing it I liked having options.

I liked the moby wrap at home because I could nurse my babies one handed while wearing it. This came in handy because they always seemed to want to eat at exactly the same time I did.
I used the ergo 360 out and about. I don’t think I ever actually used the infant insert, and it seemed fine. I didn’t think it was complicated to use at all, but no one else was allowed to use it and jack up all of the adjustments to the straps.

we used the nesting days for the first 2ish months -- its like a tank top and is super easy to put on and is very secure for even tiny babies. I loved the boppy carrier for when she outgrew the nesting days - its basically yoga material but is structured so theres no wrapping and knotting.

Loved the K’tan in the very early weeks, as well as the ring sling.

I did have an Ergo 360, and used it, but quickly progressed to wrapping and, once I got the hang of it (which was much faster and easier than I anticipated), I preferred. I never loved the way the Ergo fit me (narrow shoulders and it always felt bulky), but eventually got a Lenny Lamb SSC that I adore- it is still a go-to when I need it, and DD is now 2.5. I use it in airports, travel, major cities, etc., or any time I need a carry quickly.

It’s not the “easiest” in that it does need the infant insert up to 14lbs.

I had a lot of success with a moby wrap. I know lots of poeple don't love them, but I found it fairly easy to use after someone showed me how, and I liked that it was a custom fit.

Has anyone tried the beluga baby wrap?

Beco gemini- the fabric is so soft! They have newborn inserts but I didn’t find I felt comfortable earring a newborn at all (in any wrap)

I’ve tried the wraps, they’ve never stayed tight enough, I don’t understand the hype. They are also complicated to get the hang of, and take up a lot of space with all that fabric.
