There is no reason for them acquire a new building unless they are going to expand enrollment too.
No plans to expand currently. But demand is already high with the long waitlist. Demand is only going to increase due to the lack of viable middle/high schools EOTP. My bet is they will likely expand in the future to meet their 2150 students capl by 2024-2025. They will need to find another site if that is so. Maybe 1 site could be the middle school and 2nd site the high school.

They won’t be moving but since they are already approved for expansion, they might be looking for more space in next 5-6 years if demand continues and increases for the school.
I thought the plan was for DCI to take over the LAMB space at Walter Reed?
There is no talk of any DCI expansion yet or how that would happen that I know of.
Current DCI campus is at Walter Reed.
Just looked at their website and said expected enrollment by 2019-2020 is 1500 students. They are approved to expand to almost 2200 students by 2024-2025.
Yes i know they are at Walter Reed but so is LAMB (I think 3,4,5 grade?). I was under the impression that the plan was for DCI to take over that space as their enrollment grows, and as LAMB consolidated into one campus. Although my current understanding of that situation is that the lawsuit with the neighbors is still going on so who knows if/when that would happen.
;th and 5th, not 3rd. That would only net DCI about 10-15 more seats (multiply by 7 grades). [/quoteL
LAMB parent - WR currently houses 1st-5th grade. 8 classes total, I believe. It is a big group of kids, relative to LAMB's population, but DCI would outgrow it quickly.
Lamb parent here: WR has around 125 students. I think it would be great if even Missouri and WR could be combined at a different location. South Dakota seems happy where they are.
