Same thing happened to me. They have a kid now. As far as I know they’re still together, but it’s only been 4 years since they got married, so we’ll see.

Once a cheater, always a cheater. You are well rid of him and she will unfortunately learn the hard way.

I just don't get how people do this. Like what do they say when someone asks how they first met.

How will the best man speech at the wedding go? "I knew Larla was a real classy broad when I saw what a wonderful homewrecker she could be".

What will be going through their minds as they vow to be faithful and honor eachother? We already know he doesn't put any stock into his vows.

I wonder if they know how many people are probably judging them.

As they say "if they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you." OW will have that hanging over her head for as long as their relationship lasts. So sorry, OP. I know it isn't easy. Being sad is a normal part of the grieving process. It's understandable to grieve the end of your marriage even if he is an ass. There are lots of online support groups. It might help to join one.

This is not a good story. The punishment for cheating isn't cancer, or caring for a cancer patient.
