Thank you to the poster who recommended the Lumberjanes books for my DD. She LOVES them, and I love them too -- full of humor and good (but not preachy) lessons about inclusiveness, acceptance and how to be a good friend. I think these singlehandedly drove her into the next stage of being a reader.

+1! I just posted a couple weeks ago about my 2 year old’s rash and the calmoseptine was amazing. One or two uses and it faded to a dark mark.

Thank you to the poster, 8 years ago, who told me I should get a second opinion when my pediatrician dismissed what appeared to be a peanut allergy in my toddler. Sure enough, a variety of allergy testing over the last 8 years has shown my son is indeed allergic to peanuts and pretty much all treenuts. That may have literally saved my son's life.

Thank you to all the posters who suggested the wet brush for curly, tangle-prone hair. It's been a game changer for me in dealing with DD's hair.

PP here. Also thank you to the many many kind responses when I posted when I was home with my one week baby. I felt lost, not bonded or in love with my baby and was crying a lot (me not the baby!) and wondered what was wrong with me. Without fail, every single response was kind, patient and encouraging about the process of becoming a first time mom. And its is a process that goes way beyond birth and coming home from the hospital.

thank you to the poster who suggested a rock n play for my baby who did not sleep more than 20 min at a time. I know they are recalled now, but dang, 6 years ago, that thing saved us. SAVED US. first night in it, slept 4 hours straight.
