That would be awful. I wouldn’t want my child to know that.

He has a 14 year old son. Poor kid.

What I read sounded like possibly he fell down after an altercation and that’s what caused the head injury.

You mean the CaringBridge update? I thought that was in reference to them not wanting to know gruesome details in the aftermath before the family was ready.

I remember when there was the frenzy around Rich and suddenly the whole world knew exactly how he died (facedown with gunshots like he tried to get away) and the mansion murders (tortured the kid).

All of these people have surviving family and in the case of the Mansion murders/Senate staffer - young people in their lives who really don't need to know everything at this moment.

The comment by his brother about not being sure if they want to know what happened is odd, almost as if they think there’s a possibility he brought this on himself in some way (e.g., had a drinking problem and got belligerent/aggressive when he was drunk) and they don’t want that to be his legacy.
