I always finished myself off after conception sex just in case. Then laid there with my legs in the air for 20 minutes. We get pregnant 75% of the time.

Standing on your head after man cums is more important!

Yeah, first I laughed at the question, and then I was angry about the implications of people believing this.

Exactly. I'm rather horrified that this is being asked and the implications of believing that all pregnancies result from female orgasm.

Sorry for triggering. To answer the question though - on an empirical scientific basis it seems like yes O is correlated with better TTC outcomes. Agree/disagree?

You only had 1 orgasm in 12 years?!

Here's a study!

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0003347213002121

(appeared to be a weak but significant correlation between orgasm rate and number of kids, effect disappeared when confounding factors were considered)

Uh, of course semen falls out! Have you ever had sexual without a condom?

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on circumstances) you only need ONE sperm to stick around. It doesn’t matter if the rest drips out.

Oh, no, that never happens. the orgasm/no orgasm thing is all about how "the female body has ways to shut that thing down".

Seriously, in anything I have ever read about evolutionary biology (meaning stuff that is written for a well-educated non-scientist) I've seen theories about why female orgasm but have never seen conception as an evolutionary reason for it, more about bonding and keeping that mate around.

DCUM states that an orgasm is not necessary for conception but an orgasm is necessary for a happy marriage or divorce is imminent

I can’t orgasm during or after sex, only prior to. And yes, I’ve tried lots of techniques! Got pregnant within two months of trying both times.
