I am wondering the same thing.

My oldest dc's name is on here. I'm not hurt-he's an adult, with a degree and great job. So I associate it with a successful person.

All the southern cutesy names people think are very twee but come off as trashy and eventually dated especially with he creative spellings:

Paisley
Addalynn
Emmalynn
Alliana
Brooklynne
Scotlyn
Briella
Mandalyn
Emersyn
Averie
Kaitlin
Rylynn
Kennedie

Last names as first names is tired. (And I admit we nearly went there too, glad we didn’t.) it was an awesome trend but not only does every name not work, it’s been overdone of late.)

Noa is a Hebrew girls name.

I think if you spelled it like that and had a Jewish last name, people would get the idea. But if you’re naming your daughter Noah Johnson ... no. Just stop.

Ugh boy names on girls are the worst.

I always think of Simon and Oliver as wussy boy names too. Owen doesn’t seem wussy to me, but Spencer, Liam, and Elliott do. Someone suggested Oliver to me for DS#2 and I had to work to keep a neutral, non-cringe face.

Boys names on girls.

Last names as first names.

Kre8tive names/spellings.

Product names.

Other that that, there are a lot of names that aren’t my taste (heavy sounding names with Gs and Ds, for instance), but I don’t hate them because there’s nothing “wrong” with those names. They’re simply not my style.

I hate the names Cody, Cory, Cole, Colby. Cody and Cole in particular are like fingernails on the chalkboard awful to me.

There are plenty of names that I don’t particularly like but ultimately don’t care. But something about those 4.
