This might be the best idea ever.
If you target the church goin’ folks who drive in from PG, you will be shamed and smeared like that author who dared to call out the lawbreaking Metro employee.
Righteous historical church goers versus righteous hipster bikers. Let the games begin!
I have never been a biker, or a hipster. But, in this, my cause is righteous. People who block other cars in, fire hydrants, and otherwise park wherever the hell they want deserve to be ticketed. Full stop. I also woudl eb working overtime this week, ticketing the cops from the middle of West Bumf*ck who drive into DC for Police week and completely disregard parking regulations (and otherwise behave like jackasses), because who's going to give them a ticket?
[Raises Hand] Right here. I'll be giving you the ticket, officer. I'll have *everyone* mad at me. Which means, of course, that I'm doing it right.

So you're in favor of rampant illegal parking? Don't care about safety?

Despite the stereotype of yuppies in spandex, safer biking would be a benefit to low income people.
Biking is more healthy than Chick fil a.
Lies, Chick-fil-a makes my heart happy and my cortisone levels rise. Biking does not.

I think this is great and hilarious. People around here behave so poorly with their cars, and MPD doesn’t really do any traffic enforcement. What’s the downside?
