I find it really odd when someone has a bumper sticker about their stand for or against abortion.

Really??!

Anytime I see an nra sticker or “god bless our troops...especially our snipers” I typically let them merge infront of me and seldom use my horn.

To fit in to my neighborhood during short rides around town. To belong. To see a minivan and have others think, “wow, there goes someone who wants to Dump Trump, Co-Exist, visits Outer banks, has three kids and a dog, and has some connection to Duke and UVA.” What a cool life.

I have a sticker of my college and it’s gotten me out of a speeding ticket before

It starts with one from a soccer club. Then another child plays for a different club, so you need that one too. Then the schools. Kids go to different schools? You need one from each.

Then someone gives you one about your dog, because they know you love dogs. Inconsiderate not to put that on, right? And your child has an incurable medical condition. Might want to support that cause and raise awareness, so there's another.

And before you know it, elitist people are judging your IQ. But that's ok, because I can always find my car.

If you couldn't find your car without the bumper stickers, the judgments about your IQ may be warranted.

I think I am going to get one to cover a scratch on my bumper. I did this with previous cars as well

Because it's a great moment when a child gets into a school or college they want or makes Eagle Scout. It's a family ritual to go out and put the sticker on and we take pictures. I don't care what you think about my old car and its stickers.

It’s called bragging. Pride is something different.

I saw one the other day that said “13.3–because I’m only half crazy”. Made me laugh.

We have an old, hail-beaten minivan that I’d love to plaster with liberal stickers but it’ll go to DS in a couple of years so will leave it unadorned.

Both spouse and I have magnets--for our awesome little DC neighborhood school, Crossfit, triathlons, language school, and dog breed. Guilty as charged!

I like them--something to read at stoplights, and they're pretty commonplace in DC, so NBD.

I don't have any, but I think some of them are funny.

Others are laughable, like a neighbor's "Free Tibet" sticker. Yeah, putting that on your car in a DC suburb is going to bring China around.
