Excellent academics. Top notch teaching.

But it is very much a well to do kid's school. It is a preppy school, make no mistakes about it. If you're gay or person of color you'll probably be quite happy as long as you're also preppy. A visit is required.

All the W&L grads I've met have ended up well in life. And the women marry well.

Very Greek and preppy, but also a good school. Definitely visit and see if your kid likes the overall vibe, some kids do and some don’t.

Gorgeous campus, cute little town immediately adjacent, fantastic academics. Current president is moving the school in a positive direction, dealing with Lee’s complicated legacy.
