Subject: Moving from Charlotte NC to MD
We are in crofton/severna park and love it, but the commute to Baltimore would be tough (this area is more associated with Annapolis). I would look at laurel or Columbia unless your dh can telework often.

I grew up in Ellicott City and went to Northfield ES, Dunloggin MS, and Centennial HS. It was a great, safe area to grow up and the schools are good. They can be competitive, but I would send my kids to them in a second.

I live in Timonium and like the area. Towson is good but they are building a lot and traffic is getting bad.

Oh, please. Baltimore is a great, fun city. I second the recommendation to check out the Towson area. Great shopping, schools and access to city amenities.

I’m sorry, no, Baltimore is an actual hell hole, just about any other city would be a better place to live.

You might want to ask people who actually live in Baltimore and Towson what they think.
