Sometimes, the horrible fat men have devoted spouses, too. People with personality disordered of both sexes can be highly manipulative.
BUT did anyone watch the new episode last night? Such a breath of fresh air! A morbidly obese couple, who both have success, and you can tell by then they're still so in love with each other - and supportive of one another. It was so nice to see such a healthy (not just physically healthy) end of an episode.

Because the woman’s obesity brings home a paycheck and benefits so the husband doesn’t have to get a job. He probably has a side chick though.

It occurred to me that while we see the overweight person in the drive thru lane, we never see them drinking alcohol.
I thought she said in the episode that she was 13 when her first child was born but that she gave the child for adoption. So I’d assume the daughter was late teens to mid-20s.
I think she said 17 for the oldest DD.
Yes, the pregnant daughter that was helping her was born when she was 17. So daughter is 22. I just finished watching the episode and I’ll agree that she’s one of the worst. She so nasty to everyone, everything is unfair to her. Everything is someone else’s fault. I’m so glad Dr. Now called her out on her bullshit. She doesn’t deserve any more of his time.
