We've always had white cars with tan interior. Nobody is eating in the car. Occasionally water is consumed. There are no shoes on the seats. There are floor mats. Our cars stay clean.

I have light leather interior. It is pristine.

I find that interior color is not a deciding factor in car purchases. Your choices are limited, and I care more about the exterior color than interior. All of them are going to show something - light colored crap shows up on dark seats, dark colored crap shows up on light seats.

We have a black car with a white interior, a black car with a black interior, a black car with a tan interior, and a white car with a blue interior. And 4 kids under 10. The top choice is the black with white. Nobody notices the car from the outside, but inside the car just seems brighter. The bottom choice is the black on black. We had to get tinted windows bc the car is so hot in the summer.
