I don't think so at all. Regular facials are part of good skincare. While it doesn't have to be- I do think there is benefit to having a facial regularly and your 14 year old will get some education in how to best care for her skin at home from a professional. And it is relaxing and feels great.
No they're not. while they may feel good, they do nothing to improve your skin.
