Okay, I'll bite. I'm a Spirit parent. I never said we were the best though. We aren't. I'm waiting to see what's going to happen with these new developments. I AM happy that I'm not at FCV and facing the drive to Springfield.... I'd rather be on a team that loses but develops my kid and lets her also have enough time to get her schoolwork done....

Of course he won't makle any promises. Why would he? I mean according to the FCV DA parents he's not a great coach, but he's not that stupid.
Bobby is a great coach

These situations should remind everyone that these clubs are first and foremost BUSINESSES that don't ultimately give a crap about parents or players. Anything and everything is subject to change year to year. Nothing is secure or forever...

Oh, FCV parents have gloated for years. They deserve this

You got that right!
Were you told about the St. James before or after you paid your deposit?

What is true is what the new owner WANTS. What his employees tell you, his new paying customers, may not be the full truth.
Reread Bobby's email. Please show one definitive promise he made that offers true certainty.
Here are a few excerpts:
"Futsal courts to be used as part of our DA programming and environment "
Ok, so Futsal will be at the St. James.
What about our training and match location? The majority of our training sessions and matches will still be held at Evergreen Sportsplex, very similar to what we do now. St James is providing us with additional opportunities if we want to use them. We will be cautious about travel distance to training as well as the geography make-up of teams. For the winter period, we will have access to a full size 11v11 indoor field and futsal courts for training and can provide a year-round opportunity to maximize the performance output for our players.
"Majority" at Evergreen. Ok that is a little vague.
FCV will be "cautious about travel distances" followed by "geography make-up of teams". So are there going to be Springfield teams and Ashburn teams?
You blew past the quote "St James is providing us with additional opportunities if we want to use them."
The "we" in that sentence does not mean Bobby and us parents, after discussion and mutual agreement about whether to use the additional opportunities at the Springfield complex. Instead, "we" means the Club, and the Club now has a financial incentive in getting bodies inside the Springfield complex. I can guarantee the "we" in that sentence will decide pretty quickly to take advantage of those new opportunities in Springfield. Some of you may be fine with the extra driving and the uncertainty going forward with the club. But our girl is out.
