Metro United are the big winners. Many of the FCV players picked DA and the obvious choice for them now is to go there and build a strong program.

IDK, I live in Loudoun and have been there for several sports leagues since it opened on a regular basis. It's a nice facility, and if you carpool and use the flex lanes it's not really that bad. These are parents who are already committed to travel. I'm not sure how the daily practices will work though. Fine for games but everyday practice would be a little much unless there is a stay at home parent.

The St. James FC Virginia will form new, competitive travel team for boys and girls in the U9-U12 age groups that will be based at The St. James in Springfield. Players who are 13 and older will have an opportunity to try out for existing The St. James FC Virginia teams that compete in multiple travel leagues and will train at various locations in Fairfax and Loudoun counties.

I don't care what month it is, any shift to Springfield is a game changer from a car-time perspective. We will not go 70+ miles round trip in rush hour traffic in any month.
