Try Bullis. They have an online class that meets MCPS requirements. They offer:

Agree. I understand if health somehow doesn't fit in the schedule or frees up taking a full year class, but tech doesn't make sense. It's also a class that's a real slog of busy work on a compressed time frame, but would be an easy period, possibly fun during the school year.

Bullis School has Summer Online Classes that meet MCPS requirements. They offer:
* a full year of geometry in 8 weeks,
* MCPS-CREDIT health
* Personal Finance
* Writing

Can you do it during the summer from 10 to 11?
I would check with your school. Einstein seems to require that students finish Health by the end of 10th grade. Other schools may have other rules.

Anonymous wrote:So the kids have to take Tech, Health, and Computer Science before graduating? I knew about the getting Tech and Health out of the way online in the summertime, but not CS. I didn't even know this was a requirement! gah. I remember the counselor talking about Tech and Health but not CS.
And yes, the Health as Honors is new this year, acc to our counselor.
Tech is longer (6 weeks instead of 3) - anyone know what the CS class is?
Tx

There are two classes that fill the tech requirement, foundations of tech and foundations of computer science. It's not necessary to take both. During the school year, AP computer science principles, is a third option to fill the requirement.
