Or some of the 21+ didn’t get past the Interview stage. Not all students who interview get WL spots (or rank other schools higher). Otherwise they’d just dispense with the interviews. Some are dropped every year.

I think it went to the 70s last year.
It went to 85 last year by August, I believe so far this year it has gone into the low 50s based on how kids my child knows have moved. I think last year was unusual and it usually moves around 60 slots.
What is interesting is that this year SWW only placed 89 students total on the WL compared to 123 in 2018).
Past performance doesn't say much however, here is the data.

I think it went to the 70s last year.
It went to 85 last year by August, I believe so far this year it has gone into the low 50s based on how kids my child knows have moved. I think last year was unusual and it usually moves around 60 slots.
