I am so acutely aware of my body that I can tell when I’ve gained a single pound

I do have 50 to go.

People definitely notice. Sometimes when somebody is very overweight, people are awkward about mentioning weight loss because they don’t want to say you looked heavy before. I’ll bet you look great!

This is true. Someone at work got a lap band around Christmas and I saw her the other day and had to do a double take. She’s lost a good 40 lbs and it’s noticeable. I told her she looks great but it’s hard to be like “you’ve lost so much weight and look amazing!” because then of course all they think is “so I looked bad before?”

When I notice the weight loss of others I rarely say anything - I think it’s hard to know if the other person wants you to comment on their body. So potentially others notice but do not tell you. Congrats on your loss!

I'm 5'3.5'' and recently lost 3 lbs. (went from 128 to 125) and I can definitely feel a difference.

I beg you're tall right? I'm 5'1 and you can see 5 lbs noticeably.
