I divorced once. I never threatened. I just hired an attorney and filed. And get this, he told me he couldn't believe that I was doing it.

Who cares if he believes it or not?

Op, I get you. My husband doesn’t want a divorce either. I was thinking if only from a prude angle- I wouldn’t stay with someone who said they wanted to go. But he doesn’t have those issues. He’ll drag his feet the entire way

Take the job and leave. Start your separation. Ask him to go to a mediator with you or both fight it out and spend wasteful amounts of money on attorneys. Actually have to do something to divorce you just can’t talk about it .
