So the USPS Informed Delivery (that I have for our unreliable mail service) said we had an Amazon package also due today, I tracked the number and it said "Delivered to mailbox. 4:06 pm". I run home in between meetings, and guess what? No mail! I don't where it was delivered to, but it certainly wasn't my mail box. And if we owe them money, how are we to know without the F-ing mail?
FML so much. I see all these happy people out and about on this beautiful day and no matter how hard I toil endlessly, it's on damned thing after another. I had just solved one lingering problem this am, went "Ahhh". Finally had time to check my e-mail and then this.
I am going to finally crack up. I can't take this anymore!

I had sold my house (which I had actually taken a small loss on) and someone at closing hadn’t filed the papers correctly having to do with paying off the old mortgage and so the IRS thought that I had made a $400k unreported capital gain instead of a $40k loss (which due to the tax laws I couldn’t take). I know I called the IRS and I don’t even remember if I had to send anything in or it was cleared up over the phone.
Breathe normally, OP.
