Isn’t this essentially a slam book? Those were not allowed when I was on school and you were suspended if you were found with one. They typically had lists ranking other kids and were considered in the same category as bullying.

I am PP who posted above about remembering this and for sure it was about how "hot" they were, full stop. Definitely physical appearance. I don't remember anyone talking about anything else. We didn't use the word hot, though. I think that's newer than I am, lol.

I agree this seems over the top. My daughter is currently in 4th grade at a small independent school. Cannot imagine something like this happening in her class. Seriously. I can't believe all the people who think this is no big deal. They are 9 and 10! What are our kids learning these days. It makes me very sad.

Yep it’s mostly girls doing this. I remember lots of list like this going around in middle school all generated by girls. It kind of weird that boys in middle school would be into writing list and passing it around. Most are into fortnite not girls. Seem like a lot of work. Bet this is a fake post.
