Not in.
I’m thinking about appealing. Do I have to schedule a WISC?

Supposedly 1/3 do not get in. The examples of which I am aware (in real life) were in pool on NNAT only.

exactly. That is why there is such a push to get kids into Level 4 -- b/c there is a cliff b/t level 3 and level 4. It's an "all" or "almost-nothing" situation.
If they are in level 3 plus highest math and highest reading group it shouldn’t be a huge difference.
But there is such a huge difference at some schools! That's why many of us parents stress over Level 4 services.
Also, for the parent who asked about Level 3 services - this is school-based decision but if you want your child considered, I would encourage you to contact the AAP resource teacher at your school at the end of this school year or the beginning of next. My oldest was initially overlooked for Level 3 services and invited to join later in the fall. He ended up doing very well in the minimal Level 3 program offered at his base school but he missed almost 1/4 of the school year. [/quote
Thanks - PP here. I am just wondering how that works in case our child does not get into Level IV. Our child most likely got in the pool on their quantitative score, so I'm thinking Level III for math at a minimum is worth pursuing if they don't get in.

NNAT: 119
COGAT: 122
GBRS: 2 frequently, 2 consistently
Parent referral: Yes
Zip: 22043
These are pretty much our numbers and I'm not anticipating getting in.
I am in 22043 and got nothing in the mail. How does this work?
