OP, rule following's fine. A lot of us do that. You're not describing yourself as an upstanding rule follower.

You're saying you deliberately drive dangerously when someone else expresses anger with your driving by driving dangerously. That makes two drivers who are aggressively reacting to each other by driving driving dangerously. It's bad enough that you and the other driver are endangering yourselves, but you're also risking the safety and lives of anyone in the area.

Please stop what you're doing before you end up hurting someone.

OP how often are people beeping at you? Because if it it's a lot you are the common denominator. I drive safely, stop at crosswalks and stop signs and drive the speed limit and I don't have people beeping at me left and right. Maybe you aren't the wonderful driver you think you are.

Op here, I dont drive under the limit, but if you are beeping at me on a city street (not highway) and I am driving the speed limit OR stopping as legally required at a stop sign, or yielding for bike lanes, OR actually reading the sign that says NO TURN ON RED... sorry ragers.

You will be beeping and I will continue to drive safely and slowly on purpose. Never been shot in 20 years for it and sorry, not buying that narrative.

Been driving this way for 20 years. Never an at fault an accident on my side, great insurance rate.
And btw, the only person it ever backfired on was a guy who tried to swerve and tried to pass me on the right (at a stop sign) . He almost hit a kid crossing the street and was pulled over by a police officer he didn't notice about a block later.
