The kid comes over and begins jumping on the couch. I figured he would bounce off and continue on his way. Nope. He bounced for quite some time. I was jostled every time he bounced. After several minutes, I was prepared to say, "Hey, let's not jump on the rec center's couch." Then another mom (not his) came over, and she said hi to him (figured they knew each other and she would get him to stop). Still kept jumping. Dad finally looked over (he was seated on an adjacent couch) and said, "Hey, Larlo! If you want to jump, come over here and jump on this couch." Jumped a while longer, then wandered off.
I just watched quietly and thought, "Wow."

5 year old kid you don't know is jumping on the couch at a rec center. You are seated nearby. So is the kid's parent...and the parent clearly isn't bothered. Would you say something? To the kid? To the parent?
Discuss.
This happened. I know the kid is 5 because the kid shared the info. The kid didn't appear to have SN, but was clearly a pistol. Parent was completely checked out.

Same couch. I was there first. Alone.
