I'm in the camp that you should hang out once in a while, but not often. I knew a woman like this. She was in her early 30s before she realized she couldn't keep doing this, so she moved out of the area she was living in to not be tempted to continue living like a 20 something year old. She eventually saved enough to buy a small condo.

So, be careful what you say about your domestic bliss. Without a ring or even with one, you could be back to the single scene pretty quickly.
ITA and OP is in for it if her hobbies now are cooking and decorating. Her future DH is under the impression he won’t be doing a single domestic chore.
