Be careful what you ask for. DH is far more motivated than me and his constant cleaning and planning is enough to drive me nuts. With him, spontaneity is out the door. And no, he is not ex-military.

Op here. He doesn’t make much money either. He doesn’t have a vision or goals.
Now it’s a deal breaker. My DH is super beta but he makes a lot of money, is loya and loving partner. You have lazy and useless on your ha da.

I married young, and DH and I are both pretty lazy by nature but we have had to shape up for our own well-being and for the sake of our children. My recommendation is to work as a team in your lives and re-frame issues so that you are not being accusatory. Work on being better together.
