There could be a world where "here's me sitting on a throne of machine guns" is attractive to women, but I am glad I don't live in that world.

HA! I totally know this guy, sadly.

Neckbeard (slang)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Neckbeard" is a pejorative term and stereotype for men who exhibit characteristics such as social awkwardness, underachievement or pretentiousness. The term is associated with the currently unfashionable facial hair style known as a neck beard, and by extension, to a stereotype of overweight or obese, unkempt internet users with extreme and unpopular political views. The "neckbeard" stereotype is also associated with comic books, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Otaku subculture, animated TV series, and video gaming. The stereotype has often been associated with various communities, including incels, the men's rights movements, and cultural appreciation for countries like Russia and Japan.

I see about $50,000 worth of weapons in that picture, and they are worth much more if any of them are automatic. I wonder how many gold coins he owns?

Why do people assume there is a "type" on any dating site. It's a free site. There are no qualifications for joining. There isn't one kind on OKC and another kind on any other free site. Maybe try a pay site if you want to filter out more of the undesirables. Also, are you judging the men by who messages you? Have you really looked through men's profiles and written to any men you find interesting? I'm guessing you haven't done that.

Is that your president? Signed, a Canadian

Ok, I have to admit that made me laugh. Then feel very sad.
Are you living here or in Canada? My DH and I want to emigrate to your country but we don’t fit any of the criteria. Let us in!

Notice the guys in camo around him, and the fact that he’s in decent shape. He might be a legit military guy just goofing off.

Wacky profile on okcupid? Alert the media! There’s never been one of those before, and women never post weird stuff online.

No, but we do live in a world where "here's me sitting on a huge pile of money" allows you to bang playmates and porn stars and to marry supermodels.

Man here and I know some men in my circle who do this. It's to avoid blackmail scammers. They look for people who are married and get them to admit to wanting to hook up in online chat or video chat, then threaten to tell the person's spouse.

The way they find you is that people use photos that are used on other sites, like the professional headshot from the "about us" page on their company.. and they can google image search it. Then they know who you are and can track down the rest online. I read about one guy who got taken for $10k in hush money.

Lame excuse. Any blackmail scammer worth their salt would just set up a fake ad from a married women seeking married men and watch the suckers roll in.
