Accurate. No one can tell you his feelings. You could text him, but chances are if you have to reach out to him he's just not that into you.

My now husband used the "72 hour" rule and didn't call me until three days after our first date. I too assumed he didn't like me. He didn't want to seem to eager. Dumb rule but anyway, here we are, married 16 years later. So maybe there's a chance? If he doesn't call by tomorrow though I guess I'd take it as no interest.

It's official. He doesn't like you.

Instead of soliciting input from random strangers on the internet who don't know you, him, or have first hand observations of how the date went, why not ask him? You can say "I had a great time Friday and would love to do it again. Are you free (fill in the blank) for (Fill in the blank)?"

+1

Take the initiative. If he’s not interested, he’ll let you know, and you move on.

No no no! She already sent him a text after their date. If he's really interested in seeing her again he will contact her soon. Op doesn't need to chase him.

I am a woman and I hate this advice that we have to sit around waiting for some man to call. Ugh.

No one told her to sit around and wait. The advice was to let him call her. You may hate it, but men who are seriously interested act.

Wait, what? Two days?

Get a grip. If he called you the next day you'd be here posting about the desperate guy you met. Take a deep breath.

Signed, a man.

Ok man, explain her dates's behavior

1. What does the hug mean ? Would you hug someone you were not interested in?

2.how long would you wait to contact a woman you were really interested in?

People are such idiots.
[i]"I like him/her but I don't want to let on that I do so I'll wait for him/her to call me first"[i/]

Then they sit around stressing about what happened and trying to figure out what the other person is thinking...idiots...pick up the freaking phone and COMMUNICATE.

The friend zone is BS, especially with regard to guys doing it.

Who told you that? We (guys) don't wait 3 days for someone we're interested in.

I’m a guy. Is this not “the rule” anymore?

WTF? Never heard of any rules for guys. Who wants to play games like that?
