Does his name start with an A and end with an L? If so, he did the same thing to me. LOL

Damn, what a loser. Next.

Wow I’m sorry. What a douche. Oh well at least you haven’t invested much and can work on finding someone who deserves you. But I don’t think in general following up for details is desperate or that it means a guy isn’t interested.

Because I don't want to seem desperate.

You seem like you are 12

Exactly. Only the desperate are worried about being seen as desperate.

And dont text people. Call them. Texting in courtship is weak bull&#it. A male opinion here.

Welcome to millennial dating world... everything is by text nowadays.

I also wouldn’t text and ask for a time. Of course I would do that with my husband or a girlfriend, but not with a man who just asked me on a first date.

Agreed!!!

I decided to text. He didn't respond. Going out with friends instead. I think in the future I will use your approach. If a guy wants my time he can ask for it properly.

ugh annoying

if you feel confident and willing, message him and just say - hey, did you still want to get together tonight?

if you feel like this guy is proving himself not to be as reliable and with-it as you'd want from a partner, just don't message him and take this as the sign that this isn't the guy for you

PS I agree men do suck at this. My husband does.

This entirely. My partner has a clear idea of time, but often forgets to tell me. It’s ok to ask.

It’s different if it’s your husband or long term partner. Assuming that men have the best of intentions, but are just inept, is how women get themselves into trouble.

Same, although he's fabulous about birthdays and anniversaries.

Too passive-aggressive for my taste.
