According to the presentation posted by the OP, it is 6.9 miles (20-25 minutes) one way.

I doubt traffic will be an issue in the morning, but evening probably will be.

I do. The facility had been one of the main drawbacks to Northwood when we did the DCC open houses a couple years ago.

My DC was choosing a HS the year the Wheaton building was due to open, it was definitely on student's minds. When my younger DC was at the same point three years later, we were told the popularity of Wheaton was way up, and the energy at the open house would support that. I'd think the same will happen for Northwood, especially since their MCC program will be reaching maturity, too.

Agreed. I think by the end of the meeting they weren't thinking that was a good option to keep on the table.

Cool, we are zoned for it but wouldn't have a child attend until after it is renovated

Anonymous wrote:When is the construction supposed to take place? That would be our daughter's high school in a few years. We've already done a holding school for elementary for one year, apparently, her middle school will undergo construction while she's there, and now Northwood.
